AFTER THE STORM Receives Positive Reviews!!!

A warm audience reception at the Next 15 Minutes Screenplay Competition Table Reading

The table reading of AFTER THE STORM at the Next 15 Minutes Screenplay Competition Showcase sponsored by Final Draft is a wrap!  Hosted by the ActNow Foundation in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, the show was a resounding success.

AFTER THE STORM was blessed with a very positive review by Tanya Diallo and the Soul of Brooklyn blog.

Here’s a brief excerpt:

“On Saturday, April 16th 2011, Act Now Foundation presented the Next 15 Minutes at the South Oxford Space inFort Greene.  The evening showcased the creative and talented work of six diverse screenwriters. Folks braved the elements of thunder, lightning, wind and rain and came out strong to support the live dramatic readings of the short works.  A diverse group of actors, industry reps, students, film buffs and passers-by, young and old, packed the South Oxford Space to capacity leaving the late-comers to stand in the back. The six featured works pulled the audience in and left them wanting more. Even the weather participated! The thunder roared and the lightning flashed as the reading of the first piece, After The Storm, written by Cole Wiley, reached a critical point in the plot, adding to the atmosphere of the intense and very well written screenplay about a father who abandons his family hours before the arrival of the greatest natural disaster in United States history.”
