02.13.11 – Heygood Images’ latest project, AFTER THE STORM, has won the prestigious Spike Lee Production Fund Award! Iconic writer/director Spike Lee hand picked the project out of an “astounding” number of submissions for the 2011 application cycle. The award includes continuing mentorship and advisement by Mr. Lee, as well as a sizable grant to be used towards production expenses.
Six fellow filmmakers have also been selected to receive the award for their forthcoming projects:

Marie Dvorakova for ON THE WALL
Ian Harnarine for DOUBLES WITH SLIGHT PEPPER
Kiel Adrian Scott for EPILOGUE
